Last Words of Girl who died in Accident

“I went to a party and I remembered what you said earlier. You told me not to drink alcohol, instead I drank juice. I feel proud of myself, as you said I should feel. You told me not to drink and drive, contrary to what some friends told me earlier. I brought a healthy decision and your advice was correct, as always.”
When the party finally ended, people started driving even though they were unable to do that properly. I went to the car knowing that I`ll go home in peace. I could never imagine what was waiting for me, mother.
Now I`m sitting helplessly on the road and listening as the officer explains, “The boy who caused the accident was drunk.”
Mother, his voice sounded like he was so far away. My blood is all around me and I`m trying with all my forces not to cry.
I heard the doctors saying: “This girl is going to die.” It looks like the young guy who drove full speed, decided to drink and drive and now I must die!
Why do people do it, mother, knowing that they will destroy many lives? The pain is cutting me like hundred knives.
Tell my sister not to cry, tell daddy to be strong. And when I go to heaven I will take care of all of you.
Someone should have taught that boy that it is wrong to drink and drive. Maybe if his parents told him that, now I would not be on the edge of dying.
My breathing is becoming weak, more and more. Mother, these are my last moments and I feel desperate. I want to hold my mother while I lie here and die.
I want to tell you how much I love you, Mother … I … I … love you … Goodbye”
These sentences were written by the journalist who witnessed the accident. While the girl was dying, she said these sentences and the journalist wrote them … very carefully.
That same reporter started this campaign. Send this article to your friends, relatives and people that you love … maybe your life will be the one that would be saved or the lives of your loved persons.
Please do not allow others to drive drunk. You drive, or call a taxi or a friend!
If you are reading this now click “Share” – “Share” so that you would turn the attention to many other people. Be responsible and careful – do not drink and drive!

Sir You Forgot Something

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner.
Father being very old and weak, while eating dropped food on his shirt and trousers.
Others watched him in disgust while his son was calm.
After they finished eating, his son quietly took him to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly. When they came out, the son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.
An old man among the guests called out to the son:
"Don't you think you have leave something behind?".
The son replied, "No sir, I haven't".
The old man said: "Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father".

A Soldier's Father

By : WING COMDR VENKI IYER

~~ The helicopter appeared over the late morning horizon. We were to receive Mr Lachhman Singh Rathore who was visiting our Flight Unit to perform the last rites of his son, Flying Officer Vikram Singh.

~~ Only the day before, I had sent the telegram, “Deeply regret to inform that your son Flying Officer Vikram Singh lost his life in a flying accident early this morning. Death was instantaneous.” It was the first time for me- to meet and manage the bereaved next of kin, in this case the Father of the brave officer.

~~ While most of the desolate family members insist on seeing the body, many a time there isn’t a body to show !! Flying Officer Vikram Singh’s remains were only a few kilos –scrapped from what was left in the cockpit. We had to weigh the wooden coffin with wood and earth.

~~The pilot brought the helicopter to a perfect touchdown. Soon Mr Lachhman Singh Rathor was helped down the ladder.A small and frail man he was, maybe of 80 years, clad in an immaculate dhoti.

~~As I approached him, he asked in a quiet and dignified whisper, “Are you Venki, the Flight Commander?” “Yes Sir.” “Vikram had spoken to me about you. I’d like to speak to you alone for a minute.”

~~ We walked to the edge of the concrete apron. ‘I have lost a son, and you have lost a friend. I’m sure that you have taken great care in arranging the funeral. Please tell me when and where you want my presence and what you want me to do. I’ll be there for everything. Later, I would like to meet Vikram’s friends, see his room and, if it is permitted, visit his work place. I then would like to return home tomorrow morning.”

~~A commander couldn’t have given me clearer instructions.

~~The funeral, with full military honours, was concluded by late afternoon. After the final echoes of the ‘Last Post’ faded away, Lachhman Singh spent the evening talking to the Squadron Pilots. Vikram’s roommate took him to see Vikram’s room. Lachhman Singh desired to spend the night in his son’s room instead of the guest house we had reserved for him. Early next morning after a tour of the squadron area, my boss took him to his office.

~~A while later, the staff car took Lachhman Singh to the civil airfield two hours away.

~~As the car disappeared round the corner, I remarked to my Boss, “A brave man he is. Spoke to me like a General when he told me exactly what he expected from us during his stay here. I have never seen a more composed man on such an occasion. I admire him.”

~~ “Yes, Mr Lachhman Singh Rathore is a warrior in his own way. He sired three sons and has laid to rest all three of them.

~~ His first son Captain Ghanshyam Singh of the Gurkha Rifles was killed in Ladakh in 1962 War. His second son, Major Bir Singh, died along the Ichogil Canal in 1965 in an ambush. His youngest, Vikram Singh, who had the courage to join the Air Force, is also gone now.

more to our country’s defence than All of us combined.”

~~Yes, he is indeed a brave Indian ; in fact HE is MORE INDIAN than anyone else - His sacrifice can never ever be repaid by the Country !! He is almost a Martyr himself !!

~~ But our Great Nation does Not know this simple Giant -- India only knows that Super Rich Cricketers  and a bunch of actors and actresses to be conferred PADMA VIBHUSHANs and PADMASHREEs !!

~~ But what about the ' Losers ' ?? Those who have SIMPLY LOST their EVERYTHING to the Nation. Like this Father of Three Brave Soldiers.

[[ PLEASE DO PASS THIS ON TO EVERY  SINGLE INDIAN CITIZEN WHO DOES NOT HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER IN THE ARMED FORCES -- THAT's THE LEAST WE CAN DO AS OUR ONLY TRIBUTE TO THIS GREAT FATHER]]

Why is Japan Running A Train In This Defunct Railway Station

Situated in Japan’s north island of Hokkaido, the Kami-Shirataki train station has only two trains that stop by every day on a special timetable.
It all started three years ago, when Japan Railways decided to shut down it's services in the remote location, as ridership had dramatically fallen. That is until they noticed a young girl still using it to get to school.
When the company learned of their only passenger, they decided to keep the station running until she graduates. They even went the extra mile and re-scheduled the train's timetable according to the girl’s schedule, according to CCTV News
Since then, the train stops once to pick up the girl and only a second time to drop her off after school. The station is set to close March 2016 when the girl finally graduates.
When news broke of  the Japanese government's efforts for this young girl, people have been all praise. “Why should I not want to die for a country like this when the government is ready to go an extra mile just for me,” said one comment on CCTV’s Facebook page.“This is the meaning of good governance penetrating right to the grassroot level. Every citizen matters. No Child left behind!”
According to CITYLAB, Japan faces a number of crises, with record-low birthrates, aging population and the possibility of losing a third of its population by 2060, which have all been contributing factors that have hit the country's railroad system. Kami-Shirataki station, which is in a rural part of Hokkaido, lost close to 20 rail lines in the past few decades, reported Fortune.
However, in the midst of the troubles of Japan’s rural railroads, shines the sweet story, of a railway company, who thanks to their efforts made it easy for a young girl to get to school.
